The feasibility plan sets the sample scope, and you review the appearance, function, audio, packaging and compliance assumptions on the prototype before any tooling or production volume is committed. How long does a toy sample take?
Samples on a standard platform can take 7 to 14 days. Custom tooling, electronics or software needs its own project schedule, which the feasibility plan sets out before you commit. How long does a production run take?
A production run is 25 to 45 days. Golden samples, in-process checks and agreed inspection criteria control the move from pilot into mass production, and cartons, inspection, shipping terms, fulfillment and storage follow the approved launch plan.
