Manufacturing reference
A two tone animal where a single stripe carries the whole design.
The white stripe runs from the head down the back and into the tail, crossing every major seam on the toy, which makes it the hardest kind of detail to keep straight in production. It is either a cut part sewn into the seams or an appliqué laid over them, and the two look different at the tail. A large plume tail is the biggest single stuffed part and it needs its own fill weight.
Use this when the brief has a graphic that has to run across a sculpt rather than sit on it. Settle the stripe method first, then the tail size against the body, because a plume tail that is too large turns a lap toy into a shelf toy.
