Manufacturing reference
A seated fawn where the antlers and the ears are the applied work.
Antlers are branched stuffed parts on the top of the head, which is exactly where a child picks the toy up, so the base seam and the fill decide whether they stay upright. Large thin ears with a contrast inner sit out from the head and are the second attachment point. Spots on the rump are a print, an appliqué or an embroidery, and only one of those still reads across a shop.
Choose this when the brief wants a gentle woodland character rather than a bear. Decide the antler size and how many branches they carry, then pick the spot method you can afford at the count the artwork wants.
