Manufacturing reference
An upright eared rabbit in short pile with a contrast belly panel and an embroidered face.
Ears that stand up are structural, and they need firmer fill or an internal stiffener. The seam where they meet the head takes the load every time the toy is picked up by them, which is how children pick up rabbits. A short pile shows the embroidery cleanly, which is why the face can be sewn rather than moulded. The belly panel and the inner ear are separate cut parts in a second colour.
Use this reference alongside the cream lop eared rabbit to decide which ear treatment your range needs. The decisions here are how upright the ears have to stay after a year, whether the face stays embroidered at your age grade, and how many contrast parts the price allows.
