Antennae tipped with pom poms, a row of small dorsal spikes, side fins and two fangs are four different applied parts on one body. Each is a pull test point on the part of the toy a child grabs. The antennae are the hard ones, because a soft stalk with weight on the end droops unless the fill and the base seam are specified. The round body itself is simple, which is what makes that part count affordable.
This is the reference for a brief that wants to look different on a shelf full of bears. Decide how many of the applied parts the design really needs. Then settle whether the antennae have to stand up at your age grade, since that is the difference between a stuffed stalk and a wired one.

- Where the speech is handled Decide early whether responses are held on the device or come through an app and a service. That one choice reaches the board, the memory, the privacy paperwork, the retail claims and the cost of every unit after the first thousand.
- Module and mounting The board, speaker and cell need a housed pocket inside a soft body, a cable route that survives being squeezed, and an access point an adult can open but a child cannot. Place the module before the pattern is cut, not after.

- Content and language Scripts, voice casting, recording and file naming are a project of their own. Agree the language list, who owns the recordings and how a corrected line reaches production before the first sample is built.
