Manufacturing reference
A rounded green dinosaur built for volume, with one row of applied plates.
A soft, inflated looking sculpt gets its character from fill density and seam placement, so stuffing consistency matters more here than on a busy character. Under filled it reads as a deflated bag; over filled the seams show. The single row of cream dorsal plates is the only applied work, which keeps the part count low and puts the whole quality conversation on fabric, pattern and fill weight per unit.
Choose this reference when the brief is about a large impression at a low part count. Set the fill weight as a specification rather than a look. Then decide whether the character is carried by the face or by the silhouette, since with so little applied work it has to be one of the two.
