Manufacturing reference
The same breathing mechanism in a seated otter with a sleeping face.
The two builds are worth comparing because the body changes what the mechanism has to do. A lamb is round and firm, so the movement is felt across a wide curved surface. This otter is narrower through the chest, so the mounting sits in a smaller section and the motion has further to travel before it is felt. A short pile also shows the movement more clearly than a fleece does, which is a design decision rather than an accident.
Choose this one when the product is sold as a sleep companion with a closed eyed face. Decide the mounting position in the chest, how firm that section is allowed to be, and whether the same drive can be used across both body shapes.
