Manufacturing reference
A beaked dinosaur, which puts the difficult detail on the face rather than the back.
A beak is a hard edge in the middle of a soft face. It is either a moulded part with its own attachment test, or an appliquéd shape that has to hold its line against pile. A row of small dorsal spikes and a bristle tuft at the tail tip are two more applied parts in two more materials. The tuft is exactly the sort of trim a pull test is written for.
Choose this reference when the range needs a species that is not a triceratops but reads from the same family. Decide the beak method and the spike count, then agree how the face parts are jigged so unit one and unit ten thousand have the same expression.
